1. 대구백화점, 동성로 본점-현대시티아울렛 대구점-물류센터 공개매각 고시 

대구백화점은 29일 동성로 본점과 현대백화점에 임대 중인 현대시티아울렛 대구점 및 물류센터를 공개매각한다고 고시했습니다. 다음달 12일 매수의향서를 접수합니다. 동성로 르네상스 프로젝트를 추진하고 있는 대구시는 대구백화점 본점이 동성로 상권에서 상징성이 가장 큰 건물인 점을 감안해 이번 공매 결정을 크게 반겼습니다. 매수자가 결정되는 대로 사업주체와 만나 협업 방향을 적극 타진하겠다는 입장입니다. 

Daegu Department Store announced on the 29th that it will publicly sell its main store on Dongseong-ro, as well as the Hyundai City Outlet Daegu branch and logistics center, which are currently leased to Hyundai Department Store. The store will accept letters of intent to purchase by the 12th of next month. The city of Daegu, which is promoting the Dongseong-ro Renaissance Project, welcomed this public sale decision, considering that the Daegu Department Store main branch is the most symbolic building in the Dongseong-ro commercial district. The city also expressed its intention to actively pursue collaboration with the new owner once they are determined. 

2. 영풍석포제련소 대표이사와 석포제련소장 구속 

대구지법 안동지원은 29일 중대재해 처벌법 위반 혐의로 영풍 석포제련소 박영민 대표이사와 배상윤 석포제련소장에 대한 구속영장을 발부했습니다. 재판부는 "범죄 혐의가 중대하고, 도주 우려, 증거 인멸의 우려가 있다"고 구속영장 발부 사유를 밝혔습니다. 관련 법 시행 이후 대표이사가 수사기관의 수사 단계에서 구속된 것은 대구·경북에서는 첫 사례이고, 전국에선 두 번째입니다. 

 On the 29th, the Andong Branch of the Daegu District Court issued arrest warrants for Park Young-min, CEO of Youngpoong’s Seokpo Smelter, and Bae Sang-yoon, the head of the Seokpo Smelter, on charges of violating the Serious Accidents Punishment Act. The court stated that the charges are serious and there are concerns about flight risk and evidence destruction as reasons for issuing the arrest warrants. This is the first case in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region and the second nationwide where a CEO has been arrested during the investigation phase under the related law.

3. “올해 추석 차례상 비용 지난해보다 2% 정도 줄어들 듯” 

올해 추석 차례상 비용이 작년보다 2% 정도 줄어들 것이라는 조사결과가 나왔습니다. 29일 전문 가격조사 기관인 한국 물가정보에 따르면, 올해 추석 4인 가족 기준 차례상 비용은 전통시장 30만2천500원, 대형마트 39만4천160원으로 조사됐습니다. 한국 물가정보가 추석 차례상 비용을 조사한 2004년도 이래 전년 대비 비용이 하락한 건 이번이 처음입니다. 올해 추석 차례상 비용이 줄어든 것은 사과 가격이 지난해보다 많이 내린 영향이 컸습니다. 햅쌀과 공산품 가격이 내리고 축산물 가격도 안정세를 보인 것도 요인입니다. 

 According to a survey, the cost of this year's Chuseok memorial table is expected to decrease by about 2% compared to last year. On the 29th, Korea Price Information, a professional price research agency, reported that the cost of a Chuseok memorial table for a family of four is estimated to be 302,500 won at traditional markets and 394,160 won at large supermarkets. This is the first time since Korea Price Information started surveying Chuseok memorial table costs in 2004 that the cost has decreased compared to the previous year. The drop in costs this year is largely due to the significant decrease in apple prices compared to last year. The decrease in the price of new rice, processed goods, and the stabilization of livestock prices also contributed to the reduction.

4. 대구 숙박업소 10곳 중 8곳 스프링클러 설치 안돼 

대구지역 숙박업소 10곳 중 8곳꼴로 스프링클러가 설치되지 않은 것으로 나타났습니다. 29일 대구 소방안전본부에 따르면 숙박업소 776곳 중 스프링클러가 설치된 곳은 17.8%인 138곳에 불과했습니다. 나머지 82.2%인 638곳엔 부천 호텔처럼 스프링클러가 없다는 것입니다. 19명의 사상자를 낸 경기도 부천의 호텔 화재 당시 객실 내부에 스프링클러가 없어 피해가 컸다는 지적이 나오는 만큼, 법 개정 등 대책 마련이 시급합니다. 

  It was found that 8 out of 10 lodging facilities in Daegu do not have sprinklers installed. According to the Daegu Fire Safety Headquarters on the 29th, out of 776 lodging facilities, only 138 places, or 17.8%, were equipped with sprinklers. The remaining 638 locations, or 82.2%, do not have sprinklers, similar to the hotel in Bucheon. During the hotel fire in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, which resulted in 19 casualties, it was pointed out that the lack of sprinklers inside the guest rooms contributed to the severity of the damage, highlighting the urgent need for legal reforms and countermeasures.

5. 대구퀴어문화축제 내달 28일 작년과 같은 장소 개최...市 대응 주목 

지난해 행정 대집행 과정에서 공권력 간 물리적 충돌이 발생한 대구 퀴어문화 축제가 내달 28일 같은 장소에서 열립니다. 대구 퀴어문화 축제 조직위원회는 29일 축제를 위한 집회를 경찰에 신고하고, 다음 달 28일 중구 동성로 대중교통 전용지구에서 열겠다고 했습니다. 작년 행사와 같은 장소입니다. 올핸 40개의 부스에 3천여 명이 참여합니다. 대구시는 이번에도 도로점용은 '불허'라는 입장이어서 긴장의 끈을 놓을 수 없는 상황입니다. 대구 퀴어반대 대책본부는 대구경북 다음세대 지키기 학부모연합과 함께 내달 28일 퀴어축제를 반대하는 집회를 신고해 맞불을 놓을 예정입니다. 

 The Daegu Queer Culture Festival, where physical clashes between government authorities occurred during last year's administrative enforcement, will take place at the same location on the 28th of next month. The Daegu Queer Culture Festival Organizing Committee announced on the 29th that they have filed a protest notice with the police and plan to hold the event on the dedicated public transport road in Dongseong-ro, Jung-gu, the same location as last year's event. This year, 40 booths and around 3,000 participants are expected. The Daegu city government maintains its stance of denying road occupancy permits, creating ongoing tension. Meanwhile, the Daegu Queer Opposition Task Force, along with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Parents’ Union for Protecting the Next Generation, has also filed a protest for a counter-demonstration against the festival on the same day.

6. 김충섭 김천시장 항소심서도 징역형의 집행유예 선고받아 

공직선거법 위반 혐의로 재판에 넘겨진 김충섭 김천시장이 항소심에서도 당선무효형인 징역형 집행유예를 선고받았습니다. 대구고법 제1 형사부는 29일 열린 김 시장에 대한 항소심 선고 공판에서 검찰과 피고인의 항소를 기각하고 징역 2년에 집행유예 3년을 선고한 원심 판단을 유지했습니다. 선출직 공직자는 공직선거법이나 정치자금법 위반죄로 벌금 100만 원 이상의 형이 최종 확정되면 당선무효가 돼 직을 상실합니다.

Kim Chung-seop, the mayor of Gimcheon, who was tried on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act, received a suspended prison sentence in the appeals court, which would nullify his election. On the 29th, the 1st Criminal Division of the Daegu High Court dismissed both the prosecution's and defendant's appeals in the sentencing hearing for Mayor Kim and upheld the original verdict, sentencing him to two years in prison with a three-year suspension. Elected public officials lose their positions if they are convicted of violating the Public Official Election Act or the Political Funds Act and receive a final sentence of a fine of 1 million won or more.
