1. 대구 북구 관음동, 반려동물 친화 마을 변신 추진

대구 북구 관음동 일대가 반려동물 친화 마을로 변신합니다. 북구청은 지난 17일 '대구광역시 북구 관음동 도시재생 활성화 계획 및 지형 도면'을 고시했습니다. 관음동 도시재생 사업은 '반려동물과 함께하는 행복 관음'이라는 사업명처럼 지역대학 및 전문기관과 연계한 반려동물 친화 마을을 조성하기 위해 추진됩니다. 핵심 사업은 '관음공영주차장' 부지에 지어질 4층 건물입니다. 이곳 건물에만 예산 254억원을 들여 '관음 더 하모니센터' '관음마을 공영주차장' '관음동 행정복지센터' 3개 핵심 사업이 이뤄집니다. 특히 하모니센터는 1층과 2층 연면적 1천830㎡ 규모로 반려동물 친화 마을 중심이라 할 수 있습니다. 반려동물 용품점 및 미용실, 펫푸드연구실, 동물호텔, 애견카페 등 반려동물과 관련된 시설이 총집합합니다.

Gwaneum-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu, will be transformed into a pet-friendly village. On the 17th, Buk-gu Office announced the 'Urban Regeneration Revitalization Plan and Topographic Drawing for Gwaneum-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City'. The Gwaneum-dong urban regeneration project is called 'Happy Gwaneum with Pets' and is being promoted to create a pet-friendly village in cooperation with local universities and specialized institutions. The core project is a four-story building to be built on the site of the 'Gwaneum Public Parking Lot.' The building alone has a budget of 25.4 billion won, and will include three core projects: 'Gwaneum The Harmony Center,' 'Gwaneum Village Public Parking Lot,' and 'Gwaneum-dong Administrative Welfare Center.' In particular, the Harmony Center has a gross floor area of 1,830 square meters on the first and second floors, and is the center of the pet-friendly village. It is a collection of pet-related facilities such as pet supply stores and grooming salons, pet food research labs, animal hotels, and dog cafes.



2. 홍준표 "롯데몰 부지환수 절차 검토하라" 강경대응 지시


홍준표 대구시장이 수성알파시티 내 롯데몰 조성 사업이 지지부진하다는 지적과 관련해 부지환수 조치 등 강경대응을 지시했습니다. 홍 시장은 20일 산격청사에서 간부회의를 열고 "롯데몰 같은 투자유치사업이 지연되는 걸 방치해선 안된다. 협약체결 후 집행에 대한 관리 등 정책적 수단이 수반돼야 기업이 움직인다"고 말했습니다. 홍 시장은 또 롯데에 대해 종합 합산과세 대상 지정을 비롯해 다음달 첫째 주까지 구속력 있는 협약서를 다시 작성할 것도 주문했습니다.

2. Hong Joon-pyo "Review Lotte Mall's land return process" instructs hardline response


Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo has ordered a hardline response, including measures to return the site, in response to criticism that the project to build Lotte Mall in Suseong Alpha City is stalling. 3. 대구 중구 25년 만에 인구 10만명 회복 기대감


대구 원도심인 중구가 25년만에 인구 10만명 회복 기대감을 나타내고 있습니다. 내년 연말까지 1만 세대 규모의 아파트가 준공되는 등 인구 유입 가능성은 어느 때보다 높습니다. 중구청은 아파트 준공 이후 실제 분양·입주 등이 성공적으로 이어질수 있도록 주거환경 정비 사업을 중점 추진 중입니다. 또 2025년 준공을 목표로 구립 도서관·주민 체육센터 건립 사업 등도 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 북성로 일대 대단지 아파트 입주로 늘어날 주민 행정수요에 대비해 성내3동 행정복지센터를 신축해 이전했습니다. 한편 지난달 기준 중구의 인구는 8만1천15명입니다. 중구 인구는 1997년 말 10만3천770명을 기록한 뒤 매년 꾸준히 감소세를 보였습니다. 코로나19가 확산했던 2021년 말에는 7만4천여명까지 떨어져 '역대 최저치'를 기록하기도 했습니다.

3. Daegu Jung-gu's population expected to return to 100,000 after 25 years


Jung-gu, the original city center of Daegu, is expected to recover 100,000 people in 25 years. With 10,000 apartments to be completed by the end of next year, the possibility of population influx is higher than ever. Meanwhile, as of last month, the population of Jung-gu was 81,015. The population of Jung-gu has been steadily declining every year since it reached 103,770 at the end of 1997. At the end of 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic spread, it dropped to 74,000, an "all-time low.


4. 김용판 "대구시 신청사 부지 일부 매각해서라도 착공해야“

김용판 국민의힘 대구시당 위원장이 대구시 신청사 건립 문제와 관련해 "신청사 일부 부지를 매각해서라도 빨리 첫삽을 떠야 한다"고 강조했습니다. 김 위원장은 20일 국민의힘 대구시당에서 열린 기자회견에서 "일부 매각에는 홍준표 시장이 말한 9만㎡도 포함된다"고 말했습니다. 당초 대구시는 9만㎡ 규모를 매각하는 방안을 제시했지만, 김 위원장은 지난해 12월 3만3천㎡만 매각하자는 절충안을 낸 바 있습니다. 당시보다 한발 물러선 의견을 제시한 셈입니다. 그러나 김 위원장의 의견이 순순히 받아들여질지는 미지수입니다.

5. 포스코홀딩스 포항 이전 가시화…‘주총 부의’ 의결

포스코홀딩스가 20일 포스코센터에서 이사회를 열고 본사 주소지를 서울에서 포항으로 이전하는 안을 재논의한 끝에 정기 주주총회 안건으로 부의하기로 의결했습니다. 3월17일 주주총회에서 통과되면 포항으로 주소지 이전이 확정됩니다. 포스코그룹은 지난해 초 지주사 체제로 전환하면서 포스코홀딩스 본사를 서울에 두기로 했다가 포항시민들의 거센 반발을 샀습니다. 이에 포스코그룹은 이사회 및 주주 설득을 거쳐 지주회사 소재지를 2023년 3월까지 포항으로 이전하고, 미래기술연구원 본원을 포항에 두며, 태스크포스를 구성해 포항시와 지역 상생협력 및 투자사업을 협의하기로 포항시와 합의했습니다.

5. POSCO Holdings' relocation to Pohang becomes visible...'Shareholders' meeting resolves to disapprove'

On the 20th, POSCO Holdings held a board meeting at the POSCO Center to discuss the proposal to relocate its headquarters from Seoul to Pohang and voted to put it on the agenda of the regular shareholders' meeting. If passed at the shareholders' meeting on March 17, the move to Pohang will be confirmed. When POSCO Group switched to a holding company system early last year, it decided to keep the headquarters of POSCO Holdings in Seoul, which drew strong opposition from Pohang citizens. In response, after convincing the BOD(board of directors) and shareholders, POSCO Group agreed with Pohang City to move the headquarters of the holding company to Pohang by March 2023, locate the headquarters of the Future Technology Research Institute in Pohang, and form a task force to discuss regional win-win cooperation and investment projects with Pohang City.


6. 21일 대구시 구청장·군수 협의회 '점심시간 휴무제' 논의

21일 열리는 대구시 구청장·군수 협의회 회의에서 '점심시간 휴무제' 논의가 예고돼 관심이 집중되고 있습니다. 전공노 대구본부 관계자는 "21일 구청장·군수협의회 논의 결과를 지켜보고 있다"며 "협의회는 '점심시간 휴무제'를 실시하겠다는 입장을 계속 밝혀왔다. 4월 시행 전 불편을 최소화할 무인민원발급기 추가 설치 등 제반 조건에 대한 실체적 논의가 뒤따라야 할 것으로 본다"고 주장했습니다. 반면 홍준표 대구시장은 점심시간 휴무를 '반대한다'는 입장을 두 차례나 밝힌 바 있습니다. 시민들도 민원 편의를 위해서 기존 근무체제를 유지해야 한다는 입장입니다. 8개 구·군 단체장들은 '신중론'을 유지하고 있습니다.

On the other hand, Daegu Mayor Hong Jun-pyo has twice stated that he is 'against' lunch breaks. He said that the existing working system should be maintained for the convenience of citizens. The leaders of the eight district and county organizations remain 'cautious'.
